SUNDAY LUNCH WITH THE SHEPHERD
Every Sunday at Base Camp is an opportunity to live a unique experience in contact with Nature.
The experience starts from the Campsite, when you climb aboard Oreste Saltaforeste, the Camp's 9-seater off-road vehicle which will accompany you on the panoramic excursion in the suggestive Fargno Valley to discover the most secret and beautiful views of the Gorge.
The shepherd, also on board, will be overwhelmed by the curiosities of the guests and will tell anecdotes of the mountains and sheep farming, involving adult and children hikers. He will be very happy to welcome you into his pastures, he will show you some important and curious passages of his work. He will be happy to let you hold and pet his goats, and to offer you the shepherd's breakfast.
The excursion will then continue with a visit to the wolves' den and then we will return to the campsite for lunch with a typical menu of the Marche pastoral tradition . The shepherd will continue with his interesting stories.
