Campsites and Villages on the Marche Riviera: a multi-faceted coast

From the small bay of Gabicce Mare to the beautiful sandy beaches of San Benedetto del Tronto, the Marche Riviera holds identities that are very different from each other, a characteristic that makes it a popular destination for open-air tourists of all kinds.

The campsites on the northern part of the Marche Riviera are literally enveloped in the beautiful cliffs of the Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo and enjoy a truly unique view of the sea and the delightful towns of Casteldimezzo, Fiorenzuola di Focara e Pesaro. Small and rather “Spartan”, they are the undisputed prerogative for true camping purists. Further south, along the stretch of coast that leads to Porto Recanati from Ancona, the Marche Riviera campsites of the Mount Conero offer direct access to the small pebble beaches of Sirolo, Numana and Portonovo, and the chance to reach pristine bays following winding paths dotted with oaks, strawberry trees and fragrant brooms.

The Marche Riviera villages on the southern side of the region are the richest in services, and therefore suitable for families, groups of friends or anyone who wants to combine a camping holiday with all the typical comforts of a hotel stay.
