The 4-star Parco dei Castagni Camping Village is a hotel located on the slopes of Mount Cimone and is surrounded by an area to explore far and wide: among centuries-old chestnut trees, trails and the village of Montecreto. Our campsite is open both in summer and winter and is the ideal starting point for discovering breathtaking landscapes and having fun in the snow. For every period we have services and proposals suitable for families and the most adventurous guests.
The pitches are located on a wide green expanse, each separated by dividing hedges to ensure the privacy of our guests. We have 12 pitches for campers and 8 for tents. Guests are truly comfortable on camping holidays with us: each pitch is equipped with electricity connection, drinking water, toilet facilities and use of appliances and baby changing tables available upon request.
Spending a family holiday in an authentic forest cottage is every child's dream. You can choose from 14 accommodations including chalets and bungalows. All of them are different from each other and evocative in design, and have been built in harmony with nature. They can accommodate between 2 and 5 people. Each is equipped with private bathroom, courtesy kit and linen; in addition, some chalets are also equipped with independent kitchen.
As of 2021, for an exclusive stay, our campsite offers elegant Junior Suites, perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 people. The distinctive barrel-shaped hotel structure consists of a 21sqm sleeping area with fireplace, a 16sqm living area and outdoor terrace. They are comfortable and cozy, finding relaxation and well-being is easy thanks to the whirlpool, sauna and chromotherapy included.
Monte Cimone offers many opportunities for fun and relaxation: in winter, the ski area is suitable for beginners and expert skiers; for trekking and bicycle lovers, there are a multitude of paths: to discover the ancient mines of Montecreto, to reach the Lago della Ninfa or through the villages of the area. Moreover, the Monte Cimone Golf Club is also close to our campsite.
Staying at Parco dei Castagni Camping Village also means excellent cuisine at our “Riccio d'oro” restaurant, with à la carte menu, you can enjoy all the typical goodness of Tuscan-Emilian dishes from morning to night. The always rich breakfast is followed by tasty lunches and dinners, with our special wild boar and mushroom sauces. Each guest is free to choose which formula to stay with: B&B, half board or full board.
During the warm season, the swimming pool with solarium, parasols, chairs and deck chairs is our pride and joy. The panoramic view of the medieval village, spending the afternoon sipping a good cocktail from our bar is truly a pleasure.
Free parking, Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel, professional staff available for advice on excursions in the surrounding area complete the offer. Small pets are welcome for an additional fee.
