The Camping Darna is located in Porlezza, on the Italian side of Lake Lugano in the province of Como. Surrounded by the Prealpi Luganesi (Lugano Prealps), it is a few kilometers from the Piano Lake and Switzerland. Inside there are pitches, accommodations, B&Bs, beach and harbor, a real village equipped with every comfort. Ideal for trekking lovers, the campsite offers numerous services including sports fields, slides, barbecues, bar-restaurants and pools.
With lakeside pitches, Camping Darna is suitable for tents, campers or caravans. You can choose between different types of pitches: lakeside, comfort and standards. Each pitch is equipped with electricity, W-Fi connection and parking. They can accommodate from 2 to 6 people. Non all pitches must be booked. It is possible to reserve them in July and August for a minimum of 3 nights. The campsite is equipped with a camper service.
Camping Darna offers beautiful accommodation and bungalows completely plunged into the greenery of the surrounding landscape. There are different types of accommodation: from mobile homes to apartments and brick bungalows. The mobile homes have a double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom with shower, a living room with kitchenette, TV and air conditioning. The apartments are equipped with all services such as bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchenette, terrace and weekly linen change as well as access to the swimming pool.
Camping Darna has two pools with two different depth levels: 50 cm and 180 cm. Free entry with parasols, sunbeds, hot showers and changing rooms for guests staying in mobile homes and apartments. Other guests can access it at a reduced fee. The beach is a few steps from the campsite and directly overlooks Lake Lugano. Visitors can rent boats, canoes and surf.
Last but not least, the campsite has a restaurant pizzeria with a fish and meat menu as well as international dishes. Pizzas, varying in flavor, can be made gluten-free for celiacs and take-away service is provided. The bar is always open for breakfast, aperitifs and quick lunches.
Camping Darna offers its guests numerous sports activities. From trekking, to Nordic walking with expert guides to mountain biking and e-bikes. For lake water lovers it is possible to do wind surfing, canyoning, paragliding and tourist fishing. Among the most intimate and relaxing sports, golf and suggestive horse rides. For younger guests entertainment and sports tournaments for all ages.
To enrich the offer, Camping Darna also has a minimarket, a multipurpose tennis court, five-a-side football and table tennis, a BBQ and freezer area, toilets for the disabled, an infirmary, washing machines and dryers. In addition, the property has an electric car charging station, Wi-Fi, camper service, shuttle service, port and playground.
