The Camping Costa Splendente sul Mare is located in Le Castella of Isola di Capo Rizzuto, on the Ionian side of Calabria. Extending over a flat area of 30,000 m², shaded by pine and eucalyptus trees, it stands out because of its unique panoramic position, right next to the beach, and by its family management, which is very attentive to the needs of its guests.
More than 200 pitches with sea view for tents, campers and caravans, naturally shaded and equipped with electricity, water and Wi-Fi access, are available to guests. A modern illuminated and fenced Camper Stop area is available for campers, with pitches equipped with 6 amp electrical connection and Camper Service with water loading/unloading. The pitches are served by sanitary facilities with token-operated hot showers, sinks for dishes and cloths and washing machines.
Alternatively, guests can choose to stay in the comfortable bungalows or in the masonry apartments. The bungalows can host from 2 to 5 people and are composed of a double bedroom, a small bedroom, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a furnished veranda and a parking space. The apartments can host up to 8 people and are composed of kitchen, 4 bedrooms, bathroom, garden and parking space.
The beach is located just 50 meters from the campsite and is distinguished by a coastline that alternates between sand and rocks, with turquoise and crystal-clear water, part of area B of the beautiful Marine Reserve Capo Rizzuto. In this area, it is possible to bathe and scuba diving is highly recommended with the support of specialised dive centres.
The campsite offers a restaurant service thanks to which you can enjoy the best fish specialties of the area but also excellent pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. During the summer season, there is an animation service that organizes activities for children, tournaments, games, entertainment, shows and karaoke. For sportsmen there is a volleyball court as well as table tennis.
The historic centre of Le Castella is 400 metres from the campsite and can be easily reached on foot in 5 minutes. From the Camping Costa Splendente sul Mare, you can quickly reach Capo Rizzuto, Capo Colonna, Crotone, the Aragonese Castle and the red beaches.
