Camping Village Roma Capitol is an innovative 4-star campsite situated in a fantastic location in the protected pinewood reserve of Castel Fusano, near Ostia Antica. This favourable position allows guests to reach the Lidi di Ostia, Fiumicino airport, Rome and its surroundings in a short time. The station of Ostia Antica is well served by the railway lines to the capital that can be reached in less than an hour. The nearest beaches, on the other hand, are just a few minutes away by shuttle bus from the campsite.
Tradition, technology and sustainability
Camping Village Roma Capitol is the ideal holiday destination for those who want to spend a few days at the beach in complete relaxation as well as for those who want to devote themselves to cultural tourism within the Eternal City. Directly at the campsite you can buy tickets for public transport and get information on the best routes to visit Rome. The property, which opened in spring 2016, covers an area of 26 hectares and blends in perfectly with its surroundings. Tradition, technology and sustainability are the concepts behind its implementation.
The campsite
Guests are welcomed in large and comfortable spaces, surrounded by greenery and featuring the use of low environmental impact materials that harmonize well with the site. The property offers over 5,000 sleeping spaces. The pitches are shaded and include electricity, water, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The nine sanitary facilities, modern and heated, are easily accessible and are fitted with a fully equipped laundry, washing facilities, chemical toilets, children's area and access for the disabled.
Mobile Homes, Lodge Tents and Caravans
For those who want to experience nature, but do not want to give up on the comforts of home, there is nothing better than staying in the modern Mobile Homes. They can host up to 6 people and have a living area with fully equipped kitchen, two or three bedrooms, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating, outdoor veranda furnished with table and chairs. Alternatively, there are the Lodge Tents Villatent Lux. These lodgings, designed for those who want an adventurous holiday yet still be very comfortable, host up to 6 people and are equipped with bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, furnished veranda and barbecue. The Caravans Rome can host up to 5 people and are fitted with a small bathroom without shower, kitchenette, outdoor tent with table, chairs, kitchenette and refrigerator.
New Water Park
Starting from this year, Camping Village Roma Capitol offers a brand new water park that combines sport, fun and relaxation.

The area dedicated to the pools extends over 11500 m² and includes an Olympic pool perfect for those who love to swim, a Spray Park dedicated to children, and a Wellness Park where you can relax among water jets and water massage.

Umbrellas and sun loungers surround the entire area.
Sport and leisure time
For those who love an active holiday, Camping Village Roma Capitol offers the opportunity to practice the following sports: football/mini-football, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball. At the information service inside the campsite, you can book excursions to Rome and its surroundings.
