Camping Piper is located directly by the sea and enjoys a particularly privileged position overlooking the long sandy beach of the Gulf of Follonica, in the province of Grosseto, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. The hotel has been run with passion and professionalism by the Pecchia family since the 1960s. Guests can enjoy quality services within the small camping community, with shady pitches and comfortable bungalows that guarantee a relaxing and fun-filled holiday.
Beach

The beach that can be reached directly from the campsite is a free, sandy beach with a gently sloping shallow seabed, ideal for children. The Mamai Beach is just 2 km from the campsite, between Marina di Scarlino and Follonica, and can be reached by a convenient free service, equipped with beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sunbeds. This beach is also sandy and has a seabed suitable for families with children.

There is a Restaurant on the campsite premises that offers traditional Tuscan specialties and a Bar where you can enjoy delicious aperitifs at sunset. Among other services, guests also have a store, medical service operating daily from June 15 to August 31, and the possibility of mooring small boats and watercraft near the campsite. A staff of professional entertainers will enliven your vacation with fun, sports and recreational activities, evening shows, music, dancing and baby dance for the younger guests. Soft entertainment that will not fail to win you over for an unforgettable holiday. There is also an area equipped with coin-operated washing machines and dryers to wash your clothes comfortably. You can also rent bicycles internally at the campsite to organize your own excursions and move around freely.

The bungalows can accommodate 4 to 6 people and are equipped with all comforts: air conditioning, LCD TV, one or two bedrooms, living room with kitchenette, refrigerator with freezer, bathroom with shower, heating, bed linen, kitchen utensils, wardrobe, veranda and parking space.


Around the campsite
The center of Follonica is only a 5-minute drive from the campsite, which can also be easily reached on foot, by bicycle and bus. There is the nature area “Le Bandite di Scarlino” in the vicinity, which offers about 200 km of nature trails, stretching from the seashore to the unspoiled woods of the Colline Metallifere. At 25 km from the resort, in Venturina, is the Calidario, a small lake with a 36-degree hot spring. You can access it comfortably in every season, passing through heated changing rooms directly by the lake.
