Poggio degli Uccellini camping village is located in Mugello, 18 km away from Florence. Immersed in a chestnut wood, a few steps away from striking naturalistic path, small villages rich in history and age-old places of worship, it is definitely the ideal holiday destination for those looking for relaxation, contact with nature, sports, art and facilities for the whole family.
Large pitches for both tents and caravans, mobile homes which can accommodate up to 4 people and are supplied with bathroom with hot shower, TV, gas and tableware (bed linen on request) and caravans with all amenities for a special holiday without any compromise. Caravans can sleep up to 4 people and are fully equipped with kitchen utensils, fridge, equipped dining area and a fireproof cover to isolate and protect the living area. The use of the swimming pool, electricity, hot shower and Wi-Fi is included in the rate.
Families will also find a playground and a swimming pool with a slide for children. Adults can enjoy a regenerating bath in a wonderful swimming pool and play beach volley, bowling and table football.
The Camping provides a minimarket with local foods and wines, toilets with hot shower for free, launderette, barbecue area where to cook the renowned Chianina steak, TV room, Wi-Fi to stay connected and an excellent restaurant and pizzeria. The structure also offers a caravan garage and facilities for disabled people. No problem for those travelling with a pet, dogs are allowed in the Camping.
In the surrounding area it is possible to visit the well-known Montesenario monastery, the Mugello racetrack, several small villages populating the valley, Lake Bilancino, Bivigliano Villa and Demidoff Villa, 15 minutes away from the camping by car, and obviously Florence, which is only 30 minutes away by car. For those who are fond of shopping, the Shopping Outlet Barberino, which is one of the largest in our region, is not to be missed. Trekking enthusiasts can easily reach the renowned Sentiero degli Dei, a unique path which connects Florence to Bologna, while both children and adults can enjoy a special day in the Gigante amusement park, which is located a few kilometres from the Camping.
