The Stella Mare campsite is on the shores of Lacona, on the island of Elba, in the green surroundings of the Mediterranean forest in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, at the foot of Capo di Stella.
The campsite is built on terraces sloping down to the sea, easily within walking distance of the beach at Lacona, which has very fine sand and is one of the longest (1,200 metres long) on Elba. The smaller and more exclusive beach at Canata is also accessible directly from the campsite.
The Stella Mare campsite covers a surface area of four hectares, with more than 247 places, and offers the possibility of staying in comfortable, fully furnished Chalets with air-conditioning, heating and satellite television.
There are numerous utilities in the campsite, including bars, restaurants, animation and surfing schools. There are three sanitary structures, all fully equipped. There are also utilities available outside the campsite, with agreements ongoing with diving schools, beaches, golf clubs and car and motorcycle hire companies.
The Stella Mare Camping Village is equipped with all the comforts required for a relaxing holiday in the enchanting natural environment of the island of Elba.
The campsite is immersed in the typically Mediterranean vegetation which characterises the islands in the Tuscan Archipelago, rich in rosemary, strawberry tree, lavender and juniper bushes, which in springtime provide flowers of rare intensity. Numerous pine and eucalyptus trees provide shade for most of the campsite.
A staff of qualified animators organises games, sports tournaments, dance courses and musical entertainment for everyone, with specific focus on younger people, with a daily mini-club and games park for children.
The Stella Mare campsite also provides the possibility of staying in comfort in fully furnished chalets with all the latest mod cons to best respond to the needs of all guests.
There are 6 different types of Chalet in the Stella Mare Camping Village: the Standard Sea View Chalet, Comfort Sea View Chalet, Comfort Chalet, Chalet Confort Sea View Exclusive, Super Confort Sea View, Standard Sea View Dog Welcome. They are located in the Village, near the sea and the internal camping services. The Sea View Chalets provide a magnificent view over the Gulf of Lacona, one of the most enchanting and suggestive on Elba.
Our Apartments "Stella Mare" are situated out of our Camping, in a distance of about 500mt. Sorrounded by vineyards and gardens, the appartments are ideal to spend a peacefull and a full of relax holiday.
A digged up road brings directly to the big Lacona beach that is one of the most greatest and the most beautiful beach on Elba island, excpecially ideal for the children because of its golden and fine sand.
The Lacona beach is in the center of two promontories: Capo di Stella and Capo Fonza, both are inside of the National Park of Tuscany Archipelago, the ideal goal of wonderful walking getting in a touch with the pure and not yet contaminated nature of the Mediterranean flora Our Camping confines furthermore with two other little and quiet stone beaches in the Capo di Stella's feet.
