Camping Le Cernie was founded in 1970 by Claudio Sileoni, a lover of the sea and the underwater world. From his passion for the sea and the suggestive seabed of Sardinia, the idea of ??creating a base camp for excursions arose. Over the years, requests and needs have evolved and so has the structure, becoming what it is now, that is, a welcoming campsite, characterized by a friendly atmosphere, strategic position and functional services.
The camping area

The camping area is equipped with pitches, almost all of which are shaded. The Milleniums are larger and dedicated to caravans and campers. They have individual connections to water, electricity, satellite TV and sewage. Standard pitches also have electricity connection (2 Ampere). There are two groups of toilets and they guarantee hot water 24 hours a day. Two complete and heated toilets are available for the comfort of guests staying during the winter period.
Mobile Homes

Those looking for the comforts of home even on holiday can opt for Mobile Homes. Available in 6 different types, they differ in distance from the sea (maximum 50 metres), in the presence or absence of air conditioning and in size.  They are all equipped with an external gazebo furnished with table and chairs, living room with equipped kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom with shower.  The price of the accommodation includes water, electricity and gas consumption, bed linen (for stays of at least 7 nights), external parking and final cleaning.

Guests of Camping Village Le Cernie will be able to take a journey into traditional Sardinian flavors by sitting at the "Da Claudio" restaurant. It is the flagship of the structure due to the quality of the products used and the service. It is possible to enrich your stay with half board and a take-away option is available. The rich menu offers local specialties based on very fresh fish which enhance the taste of the raw material caught in the sea that bathes Camping Village Le Cernie.
The beach

The village overlooks the Gulf of Ogliastra, where guests can enjoy the services of the equipped beach by renting umbrellas and sunbeds, or opt for the free public beach, immediately next door. Four-legged friends are also welcome on the free beach of Pollu, who can cool off with a dip in the sea and have fun with a walk on the sand.

Camping Village Le Cernie and the town of Lotzorai allow you to practice many different sports and activities such as: paraflying, hang-gliding, snorkelling, windsurfing, trekking, fishing, free climbing.  The location of the Camping Village also lends itself as an excellent starting point for cycling excursions. Those looking for an extra thrill can't miss a ride on the ultra-modern Go Kart track just 3 km from the village. The Le Cernie campsite offers its customers an E-bike rental service and a dinghy rental service.
